Last year Eli loved Santa. Grabbed his beard, grabbed his glasses. Cuted up the whole of Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.
This year, not so much. Eli wasn't too impressed with old St. Nick. Wriggled, wiggled, cried. The good elves at the Cherry Creek Mall in Denver got this image just before the tears came.

Well, at least he was good enough to keep it together until the photo was taken. ;) And speaking of photos - I love the new "The Kid Stays in the Picture" page header. Yellow lenses is a great look for Eli!
those Santa's look way too much alike. maybe Santa is real.
I wanted one of the crying shots, but the mall staff wasn't too keen on me doing a picture edit ... Mari had to gently tug me away.
Both Santas somehow had real beards. We only attend the most high-class malls.
