Happy anniversary to us!

Five years ago today we got married at the Botanical Gardens in Denver.
Five years, the diaper anniversary, yes?

It was a pretty cool day five years ago. We read our vows that we had written together on the beach in California. The weather was a perfect Denver summer afternoon with a cool cloud cover that made for those neat photos with the light that glowed.

We all danced to Wilco and James Taylor at the Wynkoop.

This year is quite a bit different.
Eli got four shots at his 2-month checkup yesterday (He's 12 pounds, 5 ounces now!) and woke up screaching every few hours. This morning both of us felt like we got hit by a truck.

But this has to be the best anniversary yet because of all that, even though my mom had to call us this morning to remind us that today was the day.

Happy anniversary! What will it be like five years from now?
